What a UX case study is

UX case studies are examples of design work for a portfolio. Designers tell a clear story in text and images so recruiters see skills, process, and judgment — not only pretty screens.

Why it matters

A strong narrative shows how you think. That maximizes appeal as a potential hire more than a pile of disconnected screenshots.

  • Show the problem and who it was for.
  • Show the process you used, in order.
  • Show what changed after research or testing.
